8th C1-Inhibitor Deficiency Workshop

Venue: Danubius Thermal Hotel Margitsziget, H-1133 Budapest, Hungary
Language: English

Hungary welcomes you to the 8th C1-Inhibitor Deficiency Workshop will be held in Budapest in 2013.

Colleagues, students, and representatives of pharmaceutical companies involved in the therapy or research of C1-inhibitor deficiency and hereditary angioedema are expected to attend from all over the world. Patients with hereditary angioedema, who wish to know or present novelties and new results in this area are also welcome. Similar to the previous seven meetings held in Hungary, the aim of this conference is to enhance clinical research and pharmaceutical development by relying on the latest results, and to help the global introduction of standardized diagnostic and therapeutic methods.

The final scientific program will be assembled under the leadership of the C1-inhibitor Working Group, based on the submitted abstracts. In addition to oral and poster presentations selected from the latter, guest lecturers will be invited to discuss the latest achievements in the research of C1-inhibitor deficiency and/or hereditary angioedema. A technical exhibition will also be organized for leading pharmaceutical companies, diagnostics firms and manufacturers of laboratory equipment to showcase their products and services.
